Located just off the busy and bustling Lygon Street in Carlton, on Elgin Street, the After Hours concept store @afterhours_conceptstore welcomed Guzzi Archive (@guzziarchive) and Sozo Amour (@sosoamour) to collaborate and host a weekend of designer vintage shopping.

As the room buzzed with R&B music from artists such as Qendresa, a mingling crowd, and the popping sounds of sparkling wine. After Hours concept store showcased fabulously chic vintage Gucci slip-on dresses, Bottega Veneta tousled clutch, Chanel two-tone ballet pumps, Miu Miu pumps, and many more pieces from the 1990s and early 2000s.

Admittedly, before handing over to the vintage designer pop-up launch that Friday evening, I could not help but be curious about what sort of men’s wear pieces might be discovered. I was pleasantly surprised to have stumbled into some gorgeous Issey Miyake Pleats Please pieces, varying from fur-trimmed necked coats, Wool Issey Miyake knits, to combat the current weather.

Resembling the colours of autumn leaves, yellows, soft browns and limes, the next few Issey Miyake Pleats Please pieces definitely would be a great addition to a summer wardrobe.
